  • The largest growth opportunities are in Mobile Marketing (marketing specifically targeted at mobile devices like cell phones and PDAs) and Social Media (internal blogs and community sites).  Other uses of Social Media are for sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter to
  • monitor what the general public is saying about your products.
  • Interactive Marketing is increasing its share of the total advertising budgets with a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 17%.  Within this growth, 60% of respondents said they increased their Interactive Marketing spending by shifting money away from traditional marketing.
  • And 15% said they would increase their Interactive Marketing budget without increasing their traditional marketing
  • Finally as Shar VanBoskirk, the Forrester analyst said, “With dollars moving out of traditional media toward less expensive and more efficient interactive tools, marketers will actually need less money to accomplish their current advertising goals. “
